Mavericks vs Thunder Preview, Start Time, TV Schedule and Injury Report

The Dallas Mavericks (6-7) head north to take on the Western Conference’s number one Oklahoma City Thunder (11-2). The Mavericks played less than 24 hours ago and defeated the San Antonio Spurs. The Thunder are on a three-game win streak despite an increasing number of injuries to key players. This seems like a bit of a weird game, so let’s get straight to the most important stuff:

  • WHO: Dallas Mavericks at Oklahoma City Thunder
  • WHAT: Take on the number one team in the West
  • WHERE: American Airlines Center, Dallas, Texas
  • WHEN: 6:00 am pm CST
  • HOW: Channel 29, MavsTV, and also playing with Kirk, Matthew and David

The injury report headlines that Luka Doncic will miss the game for Dallas. He has been ruled out due to a right knee contusion, although it is unclear whether the injury media have alluded to that in his questions in recent games. Dante Exum also remains absent. The rest of the Mavericks have a clean bill of health.

The Thunder have a lengthy injury report. Alex Caruso is out with a hip injury. Isaiah Hartenstein is out with a fracture in his left hand. Chet Holmgren took a nasty fall and broke part of his hip. Nikola Topic is out due to knee surgery. Jaylin Williams pulled his hamstring. Oklahoma City will not play anyone taller than 6 feet tall!

This is a strange game. A win would be important for the psyche in Dallas, but the Thunder have lost so many quality bodies that it would be difficult to take much of them away. A loss would suck, but without Doncic it’s hard to judge this team as it’s built around him. There’s a longer sneak peek here if you missed it!
