Packers announce new roster for rivalry game against Chicago Bears

GREEN BAY (WLUK) – The Green Bay Packers have announced their new roster ahead of Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.

In an official press statement issued by Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst, CB Robert Rochell has been moved from the practice squad to the active roster.

Rochell was on the Packers’ practice squad and active roster all season, appearing in four games as a member of the 53.

However, because the cornerback was not on the practice squad, he had to be signed to the roster in order to play.

The Packers also qualified Jordan MorganT/G, on injured reserve.

This decision was made after concerns over the shoulder injury Morgan suffered during training camp.

“Morgan dealt with a shoulder injury during training camp and then missed three straight games early in the season after aggravating the injury.” Gutekunst said in a statement.
