Angelina Jolie and son Knox walk the red carpet at the Governors Awards

Angelina Jolie’s son Knox Jolie-Pitt walked the red carpet for the first time in three years on Sunday.

The ‘Maleficent’ star brought the 16-year-old as her plus-one to the 2024 Governors Awards at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.

Jolie and her youngest son sweetly linked arms and smiled as they posed together for photographers.

The “Girl, Interrupted” star, 49, wore a vintage gold and cream mohair dress ($1,098) from the Kit Vintage store in Los Angeles.

She wore brown platform heels, a statement diamond necklace and bejeweled earrings, leaving her hair styled in a loose half-up, half-down style.

Knox was also dressed for the big night out, wearing a classic all-black tuxedo with a white button-up shirt, a black bow tie and black shoes.

The mother-son duo attended the annual event, which honors people in film with lifetime achievement and humanitarian awards, along with several other A-list celebrities.

Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicole Kidman, Demi Moore, Zoe Saldana, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson and Kate Winslet were among the other stars on hand for the big night.

Jolie and Knox’s outing marked the first time they appeared on the red carpet together in three years.

The teen last publicly supported his mother at the London premiere of her Marvel film ‘Eternals’ in October 2021, alongside his siblings Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh and Vivienne, the latter of whom is his twin sister.

However, Jolie and Knox were not seen together until July when paparazzi caught them at a pet store in LA.

The ‘Changeling’ star recently revealed that she and her ex-husband Brad Pitt’s six children have no interest in following in their parents’ footsteps by becoming actors.

“I think they’re mostly shy, very private people,” she told E! News in October. “And they want to be private.”

Jolie and Pitt, who also share son Pax, married in 2014 and divorced in 2016. They became legally single in 2019 but continue to battle in court over their French winery, Château Miraval.

None of the exes’ children appear to be dating the 60-year-old “Fight Club” star these days, with some even dropping his famous last name.
