“All higher canyons and peaks in northern Utah will see at least a few inches of snow on the roads, with the highest snow totals expected in the Cottonwoods and along US 89 near Logan Summit,” UDOT said in a weather alert.

The transportation department also warned of snow accumulation along the Interstate 15 corridor north of Farmington and the Interstate 215 banks in the Salt Lake Valley.

The following roads are expected to be affected by snow at some point during the day:

  • I-15, north of Farmington
  • I-84
  • I-80, the mouth of Parley’s Canyon to the Wyoming border
  • I-215, East Bank
