Morocco will look to maintain its 100% record in Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers when they welcome Lesotho to the Honor Stadium on Monday.

Kick-off is at 21:00 CAT (SA, GMT+2)

The previous meeting between the two sides in this qualifying campaign ended with the Atlas Lions walking away with a 1-0 win and they are tipped to take the double.

Morocco are guaranteed a spot in the competition as the country will host the next tournament in late 2025, but they still showed up and won all their matches in the qualifiers.

Head coach Walid Regragui says the team must remain calm ahead of their match against Likuena.

“We won by five goals (against Gabon) and managed to correct several aspects of our game,” he said.

“We were solid both defensively and offensively. This achievement reflects our progress, but we know there is still much work to be done.”

Regragui emphasized his commitment to the team’s long-term growth.

While acknowledging the impressive performances in the qualifiers, he cautioned against becoming complacent, stressing that achieving success in AFCON requires continuous improvement.
