Health officials say one person has died and dozens of others have fallen ill in 18 states after eating carrots linked to an E. coli outbreak. Officials say the organic carrots, produced by Grimmway Farms in California, were sold in some of the country’s most popular stores. They are no longer on shelves, but consumers were urged to check for them in their refrigerators. This was reported by Anne Thompson of NBC News.
