Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (back) active against Texans on Monday night

Lamb suffered a setback in training on Saturday and was limited in his participation due to a back injury. He drew a questionable designation for Monday’s tilt.

“He had something come up in a 7-on-7 drill,” Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said Saturday about Lamb’s availability for Monday. “We’ll look at him (Sunday), but I’m not too worried.”

The concerns are now gone and Lamb is set to play his second game of the season with starting quarterback Cooper Rush as Dak Prescott is out for the rest of the season.

The Cowboys have had to deal with a lot of injuries this campaign. In addition to Prescott and others, pass rusher Micah Parsons missed four games with an ankle injury, while Demarcus Lawrence is on injured reserve with a foot problem.

In nine games, Lamb has 59 receptions for 681 yards and four touchdowns.

The Cowboys (3-6) host the Texans (6-4) on Monday at 8:15 PM ET at AT&T Stadium.
