Just 18 months after acquiring Aaron Rodgers in a trade with the Green Bay Packers, Joe Douglas has resigned as general manager of the New York Jets.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jets fired Douglas on Tuesday in the aftermath of a 28-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, dropping their record to 3-8 on the season.
